BSLBA OPERATES LEGAZPI SUNDAY MARKET
Last July 2, 2013, a Memorandum of Agreement was signed between Barangay San Lorenzo (BSL) and Barangay San Lorenzo Business Association (BSLBA) transferring the management of the Legazpi Sunday Market to BSLBA. The MOA was signed by Punong Barangay Ernesto Moya representing BSL and President Veredigno Atienza representing BSLBA.
The Legazpi Sunday Market is a week-end market that has been operating since 2005 by virtue of an agreement between the Makati Commercial Estate Association Inc. (MACEA) and Barangay San Lorenzo wherein MACEA allowed BSL the free use of the Legazpi Car Park every Sunday for the purpose of operating a community market for the livelihood of the members of the community.
The Legazpi Sunday Market operates every Sunday from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM. There are about 160 vendors selling various food products featuring local and international cuisine (Asian, European and American) as well as organic non-food products like plants, flowers and fertilizers.
